Joanne Schlosser ('76) is a motivational speaker and author of "Bright Ideas for a Better Life", a book designed to help people turn their dreams into reality.

After graduating from North High School, Ms. Schlosser attended Arizona State University where she earned a bachelor's degree in production operations management and a masters in Business Administration. Last year, she was named one of ASU's Women Making History Today: Ordinary Women Doing Extraordinary Things.

Ms. Schlosser founded Dynamic Presentations in 1993 and serves as a motivational speaker, trainer and consultant, helping public and private sector organizations improve their customer service, communication skills, team building and goal setting abilities. Her clients have included the U.S. Army, the U.S. Department of Education, and the HomeBuilders Association. She has held over 20 positions of volunteer leadership including past chairman of the Arizona Procurement Technical Assistance Network; council member for the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development; and president of the Food Allergy Awareness Institute.

Ms. Schlosser is also active in Toastmasters, the American Society for Training and Development, the Arizona Speakers Association and the National Speakers Association.
